How Surfers Will Find Your Articles Buried In Those Millions Of Competing Web Pages?

If you are marketing online for more than two months, you may already know that content is king. It's the heart of the world wide web. More and more people write on their websites and blogs. The new web 2.0 is the cause of even more content because users don't even need a website to write what they think.

You may wonder how surfers will find your articles with billions of competing web pages?

Don't worry, if you write interesting articles, "la creme de la creme", you work will be noticed and your public will read whatever you write. Why? Simply because there are not a lot of real experts on the web.

If you are an expert in your subject, start writing immediately and submit those articles to directories. It can be a daunting task to submit to ten directories every single day, but you can use an article submission software like articlesubmitter.com or articlepostrobots.com.

If you are too busy to use these tools, you can handle the work to isnare.com or article marketer. Your articles will spread over the Internet like windfire. I don't recommend the two services above anymore (although I used them in the past) for two reasons.

Reason 1. They don't submit to the best directories. In fact, they will distribute your articles to hundreds of sites, but not to the big free article directories. You will still need to do this yourself.

Reason 2. Many of your articles will disappear in the supplemental results (in a nutshell, it's Google quarantine) after a few months.

Are you ready to write these articles and make more money?

The Importance Of META Tags

Meta tags are used to add information to the HTTP header of a webpage. It also contains hidden information in the coding that the search engines will pick up on. Example: author's name, title of web site and "keywords" Meta tags can help improve your placement in search engines and can therefore help increase traffic to your Web site. Most likely, if your site does not have "keywords" in the head of your html code, the engines will not find your website.

Choosing your keywords carefully: Choosing the keywords used in your meta tags are very important. If you do not choose the proper keywords, submitting your site to the search engines will be useless, because those keywords are major factors in determining how a site visitor will locate your site in the engines. Lets take a look from the searcher's point a view...

A searcher goes to Google, Yahoo or Excite, looking for topics or products relating to what your company (or site) is offering. He comes up with 10 to 20 search results on the first page of the engine. Your company listing is no where to be found. After skipping to the next 3 page results . . . Your company is still no where to be found. Why? Most likely you have not inserted the most effective keywords relevant to your website. Example: You have decided to insert your companies name in your "keyword" meta tags, instead of listing your products or services in your keywords. Searchers do not look for company names, unless they are looking for a specific major company on the web.

Tips on choosing the most effective keywords or phrases for your webpage. Start with using General Keywords, then by adding specific keywords. Example: Your company is selling CD's. Take the general keyword of "CD's" and add a specific title or word to it, based on the CD's your are offering. So, your keyword phrases may be "CD's for Clay Aiken" or even the title of the CD "Measure Of A Man"

List your main products, services or purpose, that surfers will use in their keyword search.

If not selling products, then list a specific topic relating to your sites content in your keywords.

On your website index or home page, be sure to include specific phrases or topics, that a searcher may use to look for your site in the engines. (The engines may pickup on these words in your sites content).

Consider regional keywords- If your company or site only caters within specific locations, you may want to list this in your meta tags. Example: If you have a company only sells products within your state or city, be sure to list the city or state in your meta tags. If your site ships products anywhere in the world, state global distribution in your meta tags.

Choose the most effective title for your webpage. (keep in mind that visitors will be searching for specific topics in their search, not the name of your company). Exception: (If they are looking for a major company or name brand item, song, book, etc.). Meta Tags with Frame pages: Did you know that search engines often times do not pickup "keywords" used in frame sites? Most engines do not support frame sites. It is suggested that you have an "Introduction or home page" (for your index page), which does not use frames, before entering a site with frames. This way the search engines will pick up on your meta tags and you will have a higher chance of your "intro/index page" showing up in the search engines.

Your Website Title Could Be Costing You Money

Nothing could be simpler than the title you give to your web pages right? Unfortunately, the vast majority of the websites I visit these days have absolutely terrible titles that hurt their online business. The title of your website is a very important part of getting good rankings on most of the major search engines. A good title also goes a long way towards getting your prospects to click on your listings.

If you go to Google right now, and type any search phrase you want, you get back a listing of web sites that match the keywords you entered in. If you look closely, youll notice that each search listing hyperlink is also the title of that website. The title you choose needs to describe to your prospects what your website is all about. It needs to be able to entice your prospects to click on your listing over any other listing. If your title is simply your company name, you are most likely loosing lots of traffic. You will also find it difficult to rank highly on relevant keywords to your site.

Here are some things to consider:

1. Make sure you use relevant keywords

Keywords are simply search terms that your web site prospects will type into a search engine in order to find you. The keywords you are targeting need to be included in your title. Your keywords also need to be as close to the beginning of the title as it makes sense to do. For example, if you were selling shoes online and you were targeting the keyword children shoes, you could have a title like Childrens shoes for hard to fit children. Notice how the targeted keywords were at the beginning of the title. Putting your keywords at the front of your title speaks to keyword prominence. Prominence refers to the importance of your keyword in the title. If your main keywords are at the very beginning of the title, it is said to have a prominence of 100%. If they are at the very end of the title, they have a prominence of 0%. As much as possible, you want to have your main keywords appear towards the beginning of your title.

2. Consider using your main keyword twice in your title

If you are optimizing your site to rank well on Google, you should also consider finding a way to include your main keyword twice in the title. The trick is to do this without making the title sound stupid. One way I do this is to use the pipe character | between your main keywords. For example, if I was writing a title for a fishing website and the main keyword I was targeting was fishing charter I could repeat the keywords this way, Fishing Charter | Are you ready for a fishing charter you wont soon forget? This example gets my target keyword at the beginning and manages to repeat it again without making it look stupid.

3. Persuade your prospect to click on your link

The link that your prospects will see when they do a search of your website on a search engine will almost always be the title of your website. Even if you get to the first page on a search engine for the keywords you are targeting, you still need to persuade your prospect to click on your link over all the others around you. If you title is not persuasive, or even non-existent, you wont get the traffic you expect even if you are number one in the listings. Your title must be persuasive.

4. Say what you want in 65 characters or less.

Almost all search engines limit the length of the title that will appear to the search engine surfer. Google for instance, only displays the first 60 to 66 characters. Sometimes, a webmaster will try to include every one of their keywords in the title in the hope that all of their keywords will be picked up by the search engines. Keep your main keyword prominent in the first 65 characters of your title. Do this while making sure that your title is properly targeted to your target market. You can include your secondary keywords in the body of your web page, but keep them out of the title unless it makes sense to keep them in. The rule of thumb for including secondary keywords in your title is to include them only if you can still keep the title persuasive to your website prospects.

Your website title is crucial to your success online.

Your title is vital to your efforts of getting traffic online. Make sure it is descriptive, and persuasive. It needs to include your main keywords as close to the start of your title as it makes sense to do. You need to avoid repeating the same keywords over and over again. This may work for keywords that have little or no competition on them, but it wont work for any keyword that gets even a decent amount of traffic on them.

5 Important Things to Keep a Successful and Expanding Business

There are endless aspects involved in running a smooth business. Because so much is actually involved in keeping your business growing and running once it has expanded to a certain level the two most important things I consider to be necessary for business are; Having organization and a well planned schedule and setting up organized and well planned systems to handle most of the endless things your system needs without really needing you.

It's important to have a schedule; it's great to have a schedule that works. By mapping out your day, you have timelines to stick to. This will help you keep from getting distracted, if you know you have one hour to answer all you e-mails you won't spend thirty minutes on one with your cousin. This will also keep you from mindlessly browsing web pages in search of new ideas for your business and instead you will stay focused on expanding the business you actually have.

However, Probably one of the biggest set backs in internet business and MLM internet marketers have in expanding the profit potential of one of their business projects is that most independent internet business owners are unorganized in managing their projects.

When you set up a system to complete a task you are creating of more profitable business plan. However, if you are constantly intervening into that system, you have spent the time building the system, the money paying the people in the system, and you are still doing the work of the system. It doesn't make sense to outsource activities only to read and edit the entire activity for the duration of the project. You need to have everyone in the system be certain of their roles and what is expected. A good flow chart is necessary and other educational tools to make sure, in the beginning, people know what they have to do so you won't worry about it later.

And probably the most important thing to truly exploding your MLM business is educating your down line and providing them with systems to duplicate what you do. One of the products I sell holds a thousand dollar commission, when my team is duplicating the act of selling and sending thousand dollar commissions up to me we're all even happier. I run a happy team who is grateful for all the resources and education I provide as well as having a front line of sixty mini-me's now each making me the type of profits I used to make me. After developing all my systems and getting my business on auto-pilot really the only thing I focus on now is educating my down-lines so they can do the same.

Four Steps To Beating The Competition On Google

Gorilla SEO | Search Engine Survival Skills

Everyone with a web site wants to be in the #1 spot of the major search engines. With the constant changing of the search criteria, how can you avoid getting eaten by the competition?

The answer is to spread out your SEO efforts, or employ what I like to call Gorilla SEO. There are 4 basic steps I try to keep in mind whenever I am promoting my web sites

Step 1, Work with the search engines, I don't mean load up your pages with redundant keywords until no one can make heads or tails out of it. I mean find the keywords that are similar to the main word but slightly different. If "vitamin" is your key word, try words like nutrition, or supplements to build on. When you Google "vitamin" there are over 95,000,000 results, that is a lot of pages to beat out. On the other hand if you Google Supplements there are only 325,000 results. Much less crowded and much easier to get the search engines to notice you.

Step 2, work with the overall plan in mind for your site. When developing your traffic strategy, keep keyword optimization in mind. Do keyword research before you do anything else, then build your plan around the openings. This is gorilla SEO at its finest.

Step 3, Always keep your site fresh by adding content. This is easy if you have a Blog, but even if you have a traditional site, you can add content by adding pages or new products. Most web sites now have blogs for just this reason. The benefit is that it keeps the web crawlers coming back to update what you have done.

Step 4, develop a link building strategy. In order to increase the site ranking on the search engines you have to develop links to your site. There is any number of ways to do this. You can spend money buying links on popular sites, or you can employ one of my favorite gorilla SEO techniques. This is a little known way to build quality links to your web site, just leave relevant comments on public content. Articles (like this), blogs, forums are all excellent places to comment and build links to your site.

Set a goal for your self to comment at one article per day. It will get easier to do the more you do it and the links will start to add up.

Remember to keep your overall strategy in mind, narrow your focus, search for the back door keywords, and you will be a master of gorilla SEO, the predator, not the prey.

Targeted Article Marketing - Discover 4 Simple Ways to Accelerate Your Article Marketing

If you are aiming at establishing a trusting business relationship with your potential clients, banner or text ads won't do the trick. The first step to win the trust of online users is to let them know that you are very good on what you do and that you have valuable information to impart that will potentially help them improve the quality of their lives. This can easily be done through article marketing. This is currently one of the most trusted marketing tools that require you to write and market well-written and content-rich articles to increase your inbound links and position yourself as an expert on your chosen niche.

Here are the 4 simple ways to accelerate your article marketing:

1. Topics. Write topics that are closely related to your products or services so you will be able to attract people who are most likely interested to do business with you. That means, if you are selling cosmetics, writing articles about laptops will not do your business any good.

2. Titles. To increase your clickthrough rate, make use of titles that can easily grab the attention of online users. Make them striking, intriguing, and interesting by incorporating emotion, logic, exaggeration, etc.

3. Target market. Keep your potential readers in mind when writing your content. Make sure that every information you include in your articles are targeted to their needs and wants. When you are able to satisfy your readers, you are increasing your chances of converting them to potential clients.

4. Content. Make your articles worth reading by filling them with valuable information that your readers will find useful and relevant to their lives. Offer solutions to their problems, answer their questions, or provide data that they can use to better understand the niche to which they belong to.

Keyword Research and Product Lines

As you have probably heard over and over, keyword research is a pivotal step for success. Taken a step further, it can develop your product lines for you.

Keyword Research and Product Lines

Finding success in e-commerce can really be boiled down to one theme. Identify the needs of your prospects and provide a solution for them. It is that simple. You should write out that statement, print it out and hang it over your monitor. If you stray from this theme, you will have problems making money.

Keyword research is the key to identifying the needs of your prospects. When doing the research, you should identify the phrases they are using to search for solutions to their needs. Most people understand this concept, but fail to take the process to the next step.

More than a few people have said they do not want to pursue rankings under a set of keywords because they do not carry such products or provide such services. If you have ever said the same thing, you are blowing it.

Remember, we are identifying the needs of prospects. If we do not have products or services oriented to an easily identified need we identify through keyword research, what should we do? We should get products or figure out a way to supply the service!

Assume we have a site selling hiking and backpacking gear. We have backpacks, guide books, tents and so on. When doing our keyword research, we find out our prospects are also looking for writing journals in which they can record their hikes. Since we dont carry hiking journals, we want to avoid those keywords, correct? NO! We want to find a line of writing journals for hiking and add them to our catalogue of products. We value our prospects and that means providing them with solutions to all of their needs. By doing so, they will return to out site again and again when they need new hiking gear.

One of the more difficult things for online businesses to pick up is the fact that you should never design your site based on your view of your business. Your prospects should design it. By this, I mean that you should look to keyword research to identify all the product lines and/or services you are going to offer.

Find out what your prospects are search for and ignore everything else. Follow this guideline and your site will evolve into a revenue producer.

Your Article Marketing Technique

If you want to be a successful article marketer, you have to first find your article marketing technique. You will not make any money just by simply copying someone's writing style. You will fail and it won't be pretty. You have to find your own writing style as an article marketer.

When someone reads an article, they are reading about the author. They are not reading what the article is about. They are reading about what the author is about. The author's story is written into their article. Their article lives and breathes their authors name. When you read work written by someone, you should know that the content was made by that author, and no one else. When you create an article, it needs to be unique and it has to show your writing style.

Your writing style can be anything you want it to be. Just make your writing style authentic. When people read an article that isn't authentic, and it just looks like something copied and pasted, they won't care about you or your product. You have to make your article original and fact filled. When you have learned to master this, your profits will soar in.

Sometimes is takes weeks to find your writing style. This is okay! The more you write, the more you'll get closer to your writing style. Even if you think your found it, keep writing. Your writing style will always elude you. But if you keep writing, the closer you'll get to your perfect writing style. This is what is going to make you money. Your originality is the only thing that divides you from everyone else around you. Grasp it.

Marketing Articles-Article Marketing is the "Magic Pill" for Business

With the rise in competition in the field of business, there has been a substantial growth in the marketing domain. Thanks to the use of the so called strategic article marketing tactics business firms can now see their business grow exponentially. Erroneous would it be if we state that the article marketing service is an entirely new concept as article marketing traces it roots back to the era of print media. Defining the term article marketing in layman language would not be a tough task. The term article marketing in its simplest form is actually a marketing strategy wherein a business firm advertises its services or products through articles which reflect the business firm in the best possible way.

If article marketing had not been in practice, it would have been a little tedious for us to gauge a business firm to its core. There is no shortage of article marketing websites which throw light on the services and products of a company in a rather interesting way, thanks to the internet and search engines like Google. Moreover, through an article, a particular organization reaches more number of people in less time. Print Media ( newspapers, magazines etc) is one of the many ways through which strategic marketing of an article can be made possible.

Online magazines, which are a part of internet marketing, also serve as powerful tools for marketing articles. Through article marketing, a small business can reach millions of people and thus popularize itself. An original article discusses or merely states the services provided by an organization along with providing the contact details of the organization. Advertising article marketing is the new face of article marketing. So is the case with niche article marketing, which has proved to be the magic-pill for a number of business organizations. The basic reason as why the concept of niche article marketing has gained popularity is the existence of the powerful consumer force which commands enough attention, thus making the business firms devise new strategies and marketing tactics every now and then to satisfy their demand.

Reprinting Articles - 10 Smart Strategies to Sidestep the Duplicate Content Debate

The popularity of writing articles to market everything and anything online has never been greater -- and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

Some article marketers throw caution to the wind and blast their articles out to hundreds of article directory sites using article submission software. Other article marketers manually submit articles to just one or a few article directory sites out of fear of triggering search engine duplicate content filters. The majority of article marketers fall somewhere in between.

As article marketers and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) experts debate the merit of submitting articles to multiple article directories, webmasters continue to pick up reprintable articles and content for use on their sites. These free reprint articles give webmasters the opportunity to keep their sites fresh and provide their visitors with quality content.

The paradox of article marketing is that this viral spread of articles through the process of making them available for free reprinting is precisely the objective of most article marketers.

Certainly, for standard article directories that lack customization and use identical content management systems, and for those sites created using automatically scraped content, the devaluing of duplicate content by search engines can be a genuine concern.

Smart webmasters, however, who use reprint content recognize that SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) rank pages, not articles. With that in mind, here are 10 smart strategies savvy webmasters can adopt when using free reprint articles to create a win-win for everyone.

Reprint Strategy #1: Be selective and choose quality articles for reprinting.

Become familiar with authors who produce quality content. Avoid PLR (Private Label Rights) articles submitted by multiple authors, with or without rewriting. Also, avoid articles produced by article spinner software that generates multiple variations of a single article.

Behind the Page -- Customizing Reprint Content

Having selected appropriate quality content, webmasters can move on to make changes behind the scenes, in the source code of the page the article will appear on. Taking charge of the content of the metatags of the page can help to make the presentation of the article unique.

Reprint Strategy #2: Change up the keywords listed in the keyword metatag.

Reduce or increase the number of keywords used, or select different, relevant keywords to highlight.

Reprint Strategy #3: Use a unique page title.

Do not use either the page title used by the article directory or the article's title as the title for the page where the article is to be reprinted.

Giving the article page a distinctive title gives the page a chance to stand out on those SERPS that display the page title as the heading for the search result. More importantly, using a different title will help the page to appear unique rather than as yet another reprint.

Reprint Strategy #4: Write a custom description for the page.

Avoid using either the summary provided by the author or the first sentences of the article for the page meta-description. Like the article title, using the existing summary simply announces that the article is reprinted content. Writing a new description for the page provides added control over the keywords the page competes to rank for. Also, for the search engines that use the page description in their SERPS, the new description can be written to persuade searchers to click to the article page.

On the Page -- Custom Reprint Content Presentation

Smart webmasters go farther and customize the presentation of the reprint article on the page by adopting style and layout tactics used by print magazines for decades.

Strategy #5: Write an original introduction or summary to place before the article on the page.

Not only can an original introductory text box lure a reader into the article, just as in print publications, it can also provide another opportunity to control the specific keywords that the article page targets, partly by pushing the reprinted article farther down the page.

Strategy #6: Add original page headlines and/or subheads.

Webmasters can add original headlines and sub-headings to direct the visitor's eye path and experience on the article page and to control on-page keyword targeting.

Strategy #7: Use call-outs.

Do as print magazines and newspapers do, and pick out a memorable or intriguing quote from the article itself. Copy that quote into a text box in a larger font to emphasize it. This can be a powerful tactic both to draw readers into the article and to emphasize target keywords.

Strategy #8: Add sidebars with short fillers of original content.

Like print magazines, webmasters can use this technique to add value to the reader experience by adding tips, short lists, product information, quick statistics, or any other relevant information. It is also another opportunity to add keywords.

Strategy #9: Interrupt articles, breaking them up into sections.

Add text boxes with related content or relevant advertising part way into the article. Print magazines regularly use this "continued on" technique. On a web page, such text blocks can break up a single page into sections. The can provide the opportunity to highlight other information or advertising while providing yet another opportunity to target desired keywords.

Strategy #10: Add related content below the article.

Added content could be as simple as a short list of links to related pages or articles. It can be visitor comments. It can also be a spotlight on a relevant product. Anything that follows naturally from the content of the article and adds value to the visitor is a good candidate. This kind of material can lead visitors to the next destination and provides even more keyword content for search engine optimization.

Winning the Reprint Game

Putting a bit of effort into customizing the presentation of reprinted articles multiplies the benefit of using them and creates a win for everyone. The author/article marketer wins when the article is picked up by a webmaster who presents the article effectively to readers and search engines. The article directory wins when their crediting link is found on a well-presented page. The webmaster who reprints the article wins by offering quality content to visitors and by using articles for more effective SEO.

Finally, the visitor wins by finding quality content presented in a meaningful way. Even if a visitor discovers that they have encountered the article before, on another website, the custom elements of the presentation can still provide new value to their surfing experience.

Article Marketing - How Do I Quickly Repurpose 5 Existing Articles to the Article Directories?

Q: How do I re-purpose 5 existing articles to the article directories ASAP?

A: That's a great question because many people have existing content sitting around somewhere that they could quickly and easily post online in the article directories.

So here are the steps to get your existing content up quickly.

Step 1 - Focus on just one article directory to start, and I'll suggest EzineArticles. I'll show you my three tiered submission approach to all the article directories in another article.

Step 2 - Get an account at EzineArticles - Simple and easy to do. You get your account and can start submitting articles right away.

Step 3 - Chunk it down - Most content that has been written before may be too long for the article directories. Writing articles for distribution on the internet is a different animal. If you have an article that is 900 words long, you want to chunk it down into at least 2 articles, maybe three. In this way you have 3 "article agents" out there working for you instead of just one.

Step 4 - Submit your article - So many people put off this step because they are waiting for their article to be perfect. DON'T do that! Get your article(s) out there working for you. You can go in and tweak and fine tune them later. This is especially true when you are re-purposing old content.

Step 5 - Do steps 3 and 4 over and over again. Article marketing is a numbers game, and the higher your article volume the higher all your other numbers will be.

Tell your reader how to use products you sell. Offer detailed directions that improve results of using the products you sell and promote good relationships with the users of the product. How often have you heard someone mention an NEW idea and said, "Gee I wish I'd thought of that?" Well, now you can. And when you publish those ideas, you get credit and new customers for your ideas.

2. Details of Understanding

Don't you just find it easier to use a product you know something about? You could give the reader user friendly directions that would promote their ability to use your products. Perhaps the history of your product is interesting, or you have a unique story to tell about how beneficial the product has been to someone? Add in some flair or an amusing tale and you've got a great article that encourages customers.

3. News & Announcements

Has your product saved a life? Perhaps it's been beneficial to a group of people who help others? Maybe your products were used to help a family in need? Network Marketing And The Problems Faced - Shouldn't Leads Come To You?

Are you a home-based business owner? In an MLM or Network Marketing Company? Have you been frustrated by cold calling, approaching friends, going to meetings, putting flyers on cars, or spending money buying leads that never pan out? Maybe you're about to enroll in one, or are checking out your options? If this sounds like you, then Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring is something you will definitely need to look into.

If you're like me you got into an MLM, a home-based business, and your sponsor told you time and again that you need to make your list of 100 people and begin calling them to tell them about a new, ground-floor opportunity. But do you really want to call your uncle or ex-employer about this? So perhaps then you turned to buying leads online. There was quite the hype behind them. These were the cream of the crop, they were even called first to verify their interest; $3 to $10/ea, right? You called, and the person on the other end doesn't even know what they were called for, or how you had their number? Maybe you called them and they were interested, but then they never answered the phone again.

As you may have heard or seen throughout the internet when searching for MLM Leads, or Network Marketing Leads, Mike Dillard has put together a fairly simple set of guidelines for helping home based business entrepreneurs generate their own leads. He calls it magnetic marketing and it makes a whole lot of sense. If you've been involved with network marketing for any period of time, the things he tells you both in his book and his 7 day boot camp will strike a chord. It amazed me to hear him speak directly to me, even though I hadn't been in the business for very long when I first heard him.

Well, those days are over. Through the many free resources offered by Mike, you will learn how to generate your own MLM or Network Marketing Leads. People will actually come to you request information: It's the magnetic aspect. They come to you because what you have to sell, is really yourself. Because you are the one who can help them, and show them how to be equally as successful. At least, after you hear what Mike has to say you'll be that person. I am now, because thanks to Mr. Dillard's suggestions I now understand that it is far easier to have the leads come to me. You will too. I highly recommend the free resources on Magnetic Sponsoring - it will completely change the way you've looked at MLM lead generation and the whole Network Marketing business.

The Art and Science of Checking for Backlinks

When you're effectively implementing a linking strategy for your website, essentially what you're doing is creating link relationships between your content and your keyword search terms. An important aspect of a linking strategy is being able to check for back links and to know how well your site is performing in the search indexes.

Below, I've outlined how you can effectively search for back links using your article titles and keyword phrases.

Effectively Searching for Backlinks

The only software that I ever recommend using in your link building campaigns is SEO Elite and/or Keyword Elite. While they are a bit pricey, if you're going to engage in a long-term linking campaign, these tools are priceless. They allow you to search out effective keyword phrases, research competition, and help you define your linking strategies.

However, don't worry if you don't have these two pieces of software. I want to first note, that the "link:" command in Google doesn't work. Google has even said that it doesn't work correctly. Why? Because they don't want anyone to crack their search algo. So, you can certainly use the link: command, but it's not accurate and it changes constantly. You'll be frustrated if you rely on this only.

The easiest way to check for backlinks is to search on the titles of any articles you've submitted. If you've submitted your articles to high PageRank sites, your articles should get indexed fairly quickly. Once they're indexed, you will be able to search on the article title and see where you've been picked up. Believe it or not, there are many people who constantly grab new content that shows up in article directories.

Another technique for finding back links is to do a search on your website name. So, you would search "www.yourdomain.com" or whatever page you're linking to in your articles and links submissions.

The last technique you can use to search for back links is a combination of your keyword phrases and domain name. Keep in mind that if you want a keyword phrase to actually show up as the phrase, you'll have to put quotes ("keyword") around it. Otherwise, you get too many results and it will confuse or make you think you have more links and you really do. One thing to keep in mind is that there's a difference between getting indexed and getting credit for a link in the search engines. You may find that after a few days your articles are starting to get indexed. This is a good thing but it also can be misleading.

It may take up to 30 days for your website to get credit for the link. A lot of people get excited when they see that they're starting to get some traffic from the articles they placed or links they submitted. Then they panic when the traffic drops off or ebbs from an influx of traffic. At this point, most website owners think these techniques simply don't work and quit.

However, if you understand that linking is an ongoing process, you'll understand that that a loss of traffic is part of the process. You'll understand that it's the cumulative effect of your efforts that will continue to drive your search results higher, thus increasing your traffic.

While I highly recommend using the "Elite" software products to find backlinks for your website, you can still use the techniques I've outlined above to search for your links and to ensure that your linking strategy is working like it should be.

Article Marketing - Stay-at-Home Moms Give a Variety of Solutions and Then Identify the Best

Moms can use these techniques to help their customer first learn what their options are and then help them see which solution best fits their needs. This way when they get to the website or sales letter, they are already educated on the best benefits and features to look for. Of course you are not going to write about problems you don't have solutions for.

One of the most common mistakes that people just getting started with article marketing make, and one that every stay-at-home mom should really make an effort to avoid, is they write about the things that they think would be the most interesting to their potential customer. This alone is not enough.

The most effective method of writing articles is to understand the mindset of your customer. What does that mean, and how do you do that? Instead of thinking in general terms what might be important to a potential customer, you first need to identify specifically who the ideal customer is.

For example, if your ideal customer would be a stay-at-home mom trying to find ways to earn some of her own money, you might want to think about her motives for doing that. For example, some women before staying home to raise their children had good jobs and were use to having their own money.

They miss the independence they once felt from earning their own money. Maybe they just want the freedom to have and spend some money that they don't have to account for.

Another possibility might be that a woman is grateful that her husband has made it possible for her to stay home and she knows that he really hates his job, and as he is getting older, it is taking its toll on his body. In this case, maybe her motivation is that she wants to be able to develop an income that her and her husband can rely on so he can quit his job.

In either case, she may not have a lot of money to start something from home, so she will want to find something that she can begin to generate money through her own efforts rather than spending a lot of money on marketing.

Knowing these things about your ideal client, and making sure you address these issues when writing articles and copy, can help them feel better understood. Having their specific concerns being addressed makes it easier for them to be able to make a buying decision, or to feel comfortable to try and get more information.

You may have the best product or opportunity in the world, but if you don't talk about how its features and benefits specifically address the concerns of your ideal customer, you can't expect that they will easily make the connections themselves.

It is your job, in article marketing, to PREsell the potential customer by giving them information that is specific to them, their wants and needs, and to make the connections between the different solutions -- then help them identify which features and benefits will best satisfy their specific wants and needs. In other words, not talking about how a specific feature will help them make money, but talking about how the specific feature making them more money will help them regain the sense of independence they once felt, when they were making money on their own. See the difference? If you can do this they will want to get more details.

If you can do this, they are going to want to see your offer. You do this, and they are going to get excited about getting started because they know the sooner they get started, the sooner they can have that independence and freedom they so miss.

Targeted Article Marketing - Latest 4 Exciting Methods to Amplify Your Article Marketing

A lot of webmasters are constantly looking for ways on how they can amplify their article marketing strategies. Why? They would like to advance in this technique as this is proven to be the best free marketing tool in the internet today. It cannot only drive quality traffic to your website but it can also help you position yourself as an expert on your chosen niche so online users will trust you and eventually consider doing business with you.

Here are the latest 4 exciting methods to amplify your article marketing:

1. Your articles must be credible. Online users will gauge your expertise and your professionalism based on the quality of your content. If they found that your information are baseless and contain inaccuracies, you will lose their trust and business in an instant. Thus, strive to make your content truthful and back up your claims with reputable resources like studies, researches, and statistics.

2. Proofread. This is especially important if you are one of those marketers who are hiring ghostwriters. Make sure that all your articles are well-written, flow well, and free from any error that can be taken against your credibility and professionalism.

3. Make each word work for you. If your articles contain words that are not in any way helping you get your message across, they are considered filler. Strike them out to make your content brief and concise.

4. Write topics that are related to your products. If you are selling laptops and you are writing about mobile phones, you might be able to drive traffic to your website but will it be targeted? Chances are, you will have online visitors that are not interested on what you offer and cannot help you augment your revenue. That is why it is very recommended that you stick with topics that are relevant to your offerings to drive interested parties to your website.

2. Never advertise on your content. Keep your content free from blatant advertisements and strive to give your readers information that they are looking for. Save your sales pitches for your resource box.

Increase Your Link Popularity for Free

Among the many things you need to worry about for high search engine rankings, link popularity is among the most important. Link popularity refers the how many other websites on the internet link back to your website. The more websites link back to yours, the more popular your website will be with search engines. Let's explore a great free method of increasing your link popularity.

Want the hard way or the easy way?

The hard way to increase your link popularity is to take the time to visit hundreds of websites, put a link to their website on your site and then ask them to link back to your web site. This method works but it is very time consuming and often only produces mediocre results.

An option that isn't free but works for getting one way links back to your website is using link brokers. Two services out there to get you started are linkadage.com and textlinkbrokers.com. These sites offer you the chance to find high traffic website owners who will put keyword rich one way links to your website in return for money.

Write an article and get a link

The easy way to get one way links to your web site is to write articles on topics you know, then include a resource box at the bottom of the article that includes a link or two back to your web site. The webmaster or ezine publisher gets useful content they can offer to their customers and you get a valuable link back to your website without having to reciprocate. This is a win win proposition.

But I'm not a writer!

I can almost guarantee that you know things other people want to know. It could be almost anything. Write about things you know and the writing will take care of itself. Using a word processor, you can make sure your article is spell checked and has proper grammer. You don't have to write a book. You only need between 300 and 400 words to be able to deal effectively on a topic.

Decide to take action today

For years, I had read about the benefits of writing articles to get people to my website and for years I put it off because I didn't consider myself a writer. Once I made the decision to take action and write, the benefits have far outweighed any fear I had about writing. Determine to take action and just do it! Sit down right now and write your first article. You won't regret it!
